Thank you peoples for your words. I feel more confident about my submissions now. And your Noir story was a refreshing take on the someone over hears a wish plot.
So, Mr. Anderson. You seek adventure in the lands of dungeons and dragons? As a dungeon master, I accept your challenge. We'll soon see the difference between someone who has played a game one time i think and someone who emulates and studies Ed Greenwood for more than just the beard.
Muhahahahahaha!
Oh, for anyone who doesn't know the fantasy terms and whatnot I'm using/making up as I need, let me know pls? I can decode our gamer definitions with better description. I'm just used to being able to toss our words like gnome and drow and warforged and have people just nod and worry about the meta-game and be fine without a picture. I'll do what I can, but if I'm jargoning, let me know. thx!
(Oh, I solemnly swear to not bring any player-character/NPC i've used at my table into the mix unless I really, really, can't help it. This is all new. for now)
