Zoe lunged at Jon and grabbed the stone away from him. "That does it! I wish you and I had never met!"
Suddenly, the stone in her hand became warm. She looked down at it and saw that it was glowing, right before she had the urge to look away.
After a blinding flash, Zoe found herself lying on her bed, inside her house on the other side of town.
