Sarah seemed to spot them, and began walking over to them. She stopped in what any human would know was an uncomfortable closeness to Jon.
"Speak," Sarah instructed.
"Hello," Karyn said.
Sarah processed for a moment. "Hello...greetings..." she said, seeming to understand. "I require fuel."
"Well, come with us," Karyn said, leading her toward her house, on the same street as Jon's. "We'll get you food."
Once inside, they instructed Sarah to sit, and got out some bread and cold cuts and made her a sandwich. As they watched, she systematically dismantled the sandwich with her hands, separating it into perfectly symmetrical bit sized pieces of bread and meat, and devoured them.
"Weird...cool but weird," Karyn said.
Sarah began opening drawers. Discovering utensils, she took one, and opened her mouth. It seemed to dissolve as she gently lowered it in, then another, then another. She ate through large sections of kitchenware, mostly different kinds of metals.
Then she left the room, exploring the house, picking up things and examining them. she picked up a toolbox, and carried that with her, then Karyn's laptop, a DVD player, and several other pieces of electronics. She began dismantling and reassembling them.
"Stop that," Karyn said.
Sarah looked at her coldly. "Cease," she instructed.
