Mikey was standing on the sidewalk a few feet away. He was walking normally, then he seemed to be walking in slow motion...then his image blurred and grew larger...
Orange hair burst forth all over his body, accented by black stripes...His ears moved up to the top of his head. Mikey was now an adult tiger man...wearing only a loincloth.
"He looks like Tony the Tiger," Karyn said. "From the cereal box."
He turned onto the front walk at normal pace. He smiled at them. "Were you waiting for me?"
They gaped.
