Curious as to what their family was now like, Jon rushed over to the fireplace. Standing on the hearth, she could just barely stretch herself up enough to see over the mantle to where the family portrait was.
Things were indeed different; surprisingly, Jon's parents were the same people they'd always been, albiet gender-swapped. They seemed different, though; Jon's dad apparently made a frillier, more hyper-feminine woman than her mom had, and her mother was apparently more of a man's man than her father had been. Sitting in front of them were the children; apparently, not only had Zoe and Jon become the same age, so had Mikey. Jon noticed that, as per family tradition, they'd all signed the portrait.
"I don't think we're twins," Jon told Zoe. "I think we're triplets. And...apparently, we're now Zachary, Joy, and Michelle." She suddenly thought of something. "And...since Mikey...er...Michelle didn't hear that wish, she's going to think this is all normal."
