Every moment was a new reason to regret his stupid wish.
Jon struggled to think of anything good about his new life.
He looked at Mallory. She got a good deal, though it wouldn't last. Wait, maybe he could somehow lead her off campus tomorrow afternoon so she wouldn't be affected by the wish. She wouldn't be his sister anymore, but at least she could think she'd be Annie for one more day. However, the stone wouldn't necessarily take Jon's words "at my high school" literally next time. And Jon doubted she'd still have the role after four more waves of changes. Maybe the school might have a different musical or no musical at all if those waves changed the director.
