"Mama, we're home!" Jon's new sister yelled into the home that was somehow now his.
He had tried to keep up with conversation with his new sister, but was having trouble. It was one thing to change nationality, but to change race entirely was something else. He had never imagined he'd become an Asian man at some point in his life, but he had learned anything was possible with the stone. He only hoped the stone was still a part of his life, or things would really be bad.
Luckily the girl who would be playing Annie was so excited she talked the majority of the way home. He was happy for her, but wondered if who she had been before was interested in acting at all. Would she have cared about staring in this musical? It seemed cruel that for all her giddy excitement she would not be the one they had cast by this time tomorrow.
"I'm in here Mallory. Did you find your brother?" His new mom yelled from the other room.
"Yeah, he was at McDonald's." Mallory answered.
"And why did you go to McDonald's without a call? No message or anything to tell me where you were going for hours? I know I raised you to be a smart young man, not some idiot who makes his mom worry." Jon heard the woman before she came in the room.
He was shocked to see it was Stephanie. The last time he saw her she was an expectant mother. Now the former goth was in her forties and his mother. Her hair was black, and long enough to reach her waist. Her breasts were large, and firm for her age and having at least three kids, or Jon hoped Mikey was still his brother. She lacked the potbelly Julie had gotten as his mom, though her hips were wide and her butt and thighs soft.
"Uh, sorry mom. I walked Tiffany home and got lost in thought. I just kind of wandered until I ended up where Mallory found me." Jon could tell Stephanie was a different kind of parent compared to Linda or Julie.
She had a look saying that wasn't good enough. She clearly was the kind of mom who expected her kids to live up to a certain standard, and wouldn't accept weak excuses like that. Jon felt a kind of pressure he wasn't used to.
"Jon, you're one of the oldest. You can't expect me to let that slide. Besides, you have a commitment tonight, or did you forget?" Stephanie said sternly.
"A commitment?" Jon managed, but his face was pale. Stephanie had said he was one of the oldest. He had other siblings? They were older than him? What had happened with the wish? So many variables had changed, and it appeared his whole identity was being changed like all the girls his wish had affected.
"You're supposed to watch Sarah and her little sister tonight! You're unbelievable Jon! Her mom called saying she tried reaching you, but you weren't answering." Stephanie's arms were folded under her breasts, staring Jon down.
Jon wasn't sure what was happening, but he guessed he was watching Sarah. As in McMillan? But what kind of life was she in now?
"I don't remember seeing any messages." Jon nervously went for his phone, but found his pocket empty. "What? My phone is missing!"
"Jon, what am I going to do with you?" Stephanie shook her head. "You need to learn some responsibility, and I'm starting to think Tiffany isn't a good influence on you. You've been scatterbrained since the two of you got together."
"I saw him with his phone at McDonald's." Mallory spoke up.
"Thank you Mallory. Get your things together Jon. I'll drop you off at the Kim's and get your phone after. You're late getting there already." Stephanie sighed as she grabbed her keys.
"Will you drop it off after you get it?" Jon asked, resigning himself to babysitting the girl who used to bully him.
"No, a night without your phone is the perfect way to make you learn to focus on what's important." Stephanie declared as she walked out the door.
"Wow, mom is really mad this time." Mallory turned back to Jon after watching her mom leave.
Jon couldn't believe this was happening. His life was upside down, and he couldn't even use his app to look up more about who had changed and how. It could be hours before he had a chance to learn any more about this version of reality.
"Have you told Sarah you and Tiffany are dating yet?" Mallory asked as Jon was turning to leave.
"I don't think I have. Why?" Jon was confused why Sarah would care if she was young enough to need a babysitter now.
"You dummy, Sarah's got the cutest little crush on you. You know she hates seeing you with Tiffany." Mallory laughed.
Great, now he had an unknown version of a jealous Sarah to look forward to. Every moment was a new reason to regret his stupid wish.
