Jon went off to his, or rather her room to inspect his now rather attractive body, loosening her corset to do so. Jon's room looked like a dark version of some 18th century bedroom. She seemed to be a different sort of Goth than Zoe had been, which wasn't surprising. There were many types of Goths, like any other group.
Whoever Jon was now...her appearance seemed to be important to her. Looking through her closet, she saw a variety of gothic dresses, as well as more daring outfits...She flicked on the stereo....and a girl began to sing a rather melancholy modern ballad. Jon had always hated that sort of angsty music...but it seemed to be growing on her.
She hunted around the room...finding that she had friends who were both goth and not goth...more mainstream than Zoe had been. Her name in this reality, according to a diary she found, was Jessica...and she had a nerdy younger brother named Joey.
Joey was into science-fiction and fantasy...and getting on her nerves. Well...at least some things never changed.
