"Me?" Zoe said. "Look at you...you aren't just a girl...you're a..." He trailed off.
Jon looked down, and saw a rather attractive body inside a school uniform. Their school didn't have uniforms. The crest indicated she went to a private school on the other side of town. "Why am I going to private school and you're not a Goth anymore?" She asked, not sure Zoe would know any more. It was more a rhetorical question.
Zoe shrugged. He'd been the one interested in the occult. "I guess I didn't think out my wish...If everyone alive is now the other gender...the changes stretch back decades...It's what they call the domino effect. A guy fifty years ago was born a girl...so he wasn't somewhere he would have been as a guy..and became a ballerina instead of a stock broker...and suddenly lived a very different life...And that changed other lives...and suddenly...etc. etc....What the hell...I'm not a goth and you've jumped schools."
"And anyone we know may not be the same either..."
"Bingo."
