Suddenly, Tim heard the school intercom chime. A young woman's voice called out, "Tim Brant. Please report to the principal's office."
What could the principal possibly want with him? Shrugging to himself, he put the question aside and concentrated on finding his way to the office. He had made several more wishes since those made upon his arrival. One of these wishes had given him the necessary knowledge of the campus layout, so the walk did not take very long.
When he reached the office, the redheaded secretary directed him to the principal's door, not quite hiding her admiring gaze when he smiled his thanks.
Upon entering, Tim was greeted by an attractive brunette barely older than twenty, younger even than many of her staff. She looked very innocent and petite behind her large wooden desk, but her clothing and hairstyle gave her a very professional look despite her youth. "Good morning, Mr. Grant," she said, her soft tone sending a thrill down the teenager's spine.
"G-good morning " Tim glanced at the plaque on the desk. "Miss Melody," he finished.
"Please, call me Crystal like everyone else. Some of your older schoolmates knew me when I attended here as a student, and it makes me feel awkward to start distancing myself now."
"Crystal Melody? Nice name," Tim commented, stifling a laugh. He knew very well that this was an effect of one of his wishes. All the girls in his school now had names and interests that made them as girly as possible.
Crystal blushed. "Thank you, Mr. Grant. Now, on to the business at hand. I wish to discuss your future here at Lake View High. You already know that having you attend our school is rather unusual, given that we are a school specifically designed for educating young ladies. However, we allowed you to enroll anyway. I'm sure you understand why we deemed it permissible to do so."
Tim felt a little confused. He had to admit, he had wished that he would have "special permission" to attend this school, but he had not specified the nature of this permission. "Um, the reason kind of slipped my mind. Could you remind me, please?"
The young woman's bright blue eyes widened. "Really? Forgive me if I'm more than a little surprised. Well, the reason is simply that "
