Jon anxiously waited as he waited for Karyn to answer her phone. He paced his room as it rang. Finally, after a few rings, he heard it being answered, followed by Karyn's voice. "Hello?"

"Finally. I've been trying to call you all afternoon." Jon said.

"My phone was charging in my room while I was doing my homework downstairs." Karyn said. "Why, what's up?"

"The stone is gone." Jon said.

"What do you mean it's gone?" Karyn asked.

"I had it on the way home from school, but when I got home, it was gone. I think it fell out of my pocket."

"Well you need to retrace your path." Karyn said, sounding a bit panicked.

"Don't you think I thought of that?" Jon asked. "I was out looking all afternoon. That's why I was calling."

"I'll come over now to help you." Karyn offered.

"No, it's too late now. I searched the entire path I took home, and it was gone. Someone must have picked it up."

"Well what are we going to do? We need to get it back."

"I know, I know." Jon said. "The situation isn't as bad as it could be. I made a wish earlier that may actually help us out here. Why don't you come over, and I'll fill you in and we can try and figure something out."

"Alright." Karyn said. "See you in a bit."


Meanwhile, outside of a house that was currently the location of a large party full of her peers, Lisa waited. She knew now what the stone was capable of, and while she would make wishes to ensure her own life would be better, she knew of a few people who needed to be taken down a few notches.
