It's really hard to tell what's going on with readers here. Not adding could mean that people are indifferent to the story, or it could also mean that you're writing it so well that nobody wants to come in and accidentally derail what you're doing. Or just that people don't have ideas.
One of my own bits of writing that I'm most proud of, and still enjoy today, is this branch, where only two posts on that entire screen are written by someone other than me. If you like the story, keep at it, and I guarantee there are other people out there who like it, too. Remember that it's harder to come up with new ideas the more specific a story gets, and that specificity is often what makes a story great.
