Suzie smiled and said "I've been grinding quite a bit since I got here. I'm level 14. It shouldn't take you too long as long as you keep doing things. I've tried signing up to the thieves' guild. They don't let you join up right away. As a level 1 elf, there was no shot. I had to do lots of tasks for them. So, I'm on a questline that will go on until I reach level 20." That interested me. "Okay, what's the questline like?" I asked. She shrugged and said "Well there was a couple of initial missions. Those were helping a couple of low-ranking members out of jail. Another was to beat up some guards after a raid. Now they have me doing lots of grunt work. It's basically ''Go fetch this thing for me.' or 'Take this to the fence.' or Steal x thing from x person.' I've done like 8 of them." I asked if there was something else that she could do. She said "I have to be level 20. It doesn't matter how. I've been doing some jobs for one of the local gangs. I've also been hunting monsters out in the wild. Due to that, I'm in the hunter's guild now. Silver Dogs Gang too." That was pretty cool. "You're doing a whole lot here." I said.

Once she got me out of the city and into the wild zone, we went to the randomly spawning animals and monsters. They would go aggro on us and come to attack us. We would fight them together and Suzie would let me get the killing blows. It did not take long until I leveled up. When that happened, I was shocked. I was not level 20. I could not believe. When I told Suzie, she could not believe it. "How the hell is this possible, you've only been here for barely a half an hour." There was only one thing to explain it. "That must because of the Sage. They made me go from level 1 to level 10. Maybe they made a mistake when they did that." I said. She just looked at me with an exasperated look on his face. "Are you really going to skip every 10 levels just for tripping a Devil!? That's OP." Suzie said. I just shrugged. "Whatever it is, I'm going to enjoy this." I put all the first 10 levels into strength and the others into endurance. That made me super strong and have a lot of health. We kept going until she leveled up to level 15. She asked "Do you want to meet the gang or the guilds?" I nodded.

Meeting the Silver Dogs Gang was fine. They were a street gang on teenagers and street urchins that were trying to make something of themselves. I looked them over and saw they were mostly humans with a few half elves or half orcs mixed in. Because Suzie was vouching for me, I did not need to do the initiation quest. The initiation would be either stealing some food to feed the gang or beating up another gang. I decided to do the initiation anyway to really sell them on me. They nodded and I was sent off alone. Since I was jacked in strength, I decided to go find some members of an enemy gang. The Ivory Cats was an adult gang that dealt in prostitution, smuggling and extortion. They wanted the small corner of the city that the Silver Dogs used. There were obviously more gangs, but they were the first ones that I found. I went up to them and said "Hey!" One of them turned to me and I used it to sucker punch them. The 3 of them were really upset. A fight then ensued. It was touch and go for a bit. I had health and strength but no speed or dexterity. I was a mounted cannon.

Even though I was able to do lots of damage to them, I could not escape the punches that came my way. They could also dodge me easily. I was still able to take all 3 of them down. When that was done, I went back to the gang hideout. I told them what happened and then they circled me. They all touched me and then said "You're a part of us. We're a part of you. Let's howl together. Silver Dogs go!" They then began howling. Suzie even joined in. I was really outnumbered and joined in too. That seemed a bit too much as the guards came and chased us off. They could not follow us too far because the gang knew the area really well. I checked my menu there was a new notification on the status menu. I checked it and the status "Gang Member" was there. I was now a member and that meant that I could get access to their hideout and some of their supplies. I had to do the same thing for them as well. I was also expected to do some quests for the higher up members. That was fine. I was not going to be in Epic City for long. Due to this glitch, I would not be helped by being near Sages.
