When the light was gone, Sarah looked down at herself in shock. She was a cat... "Ugh, I'm a cat..." Sarah yelled out in disgust...but it came out as a Murr. She was having trouble concentrating...it was getting hard to...think...
Kiki the cat, who was in Sarah's body, stood up. Even though Sarah was whispering her wish to herself, Kiki had superior feline hearing and heard it, remembering the previous reality. She looked confused for a moment...then the haze on her mind began to clear. "I'm..." she looked at herself...then down at the cat. "You were going to kick me...weren't you?"
Sarah backed away...her reactions becoming more and more simplistic..."Have to keep thinking..." A nearby patch of sunshine attracted her attention.
"Was I really that way?" Kiki pondered. So many new and interesting concepts flooded into her mind...knowledge left behind by its previous owner who wasn't using it. She didn't want to go back to being a dumb animal.
This was a case when Jon's "precautionary" wish came in handy. Even though he wasn't in hearing range of Sarah's unfortunate wish, his memories didn't get altered and he still remembered how things were supposed to be.
