Asahel and Gideon had to start moving out since they graduated. We helped them pack up to make it much easier. It was all put on the moving trucks and they were taken off. They wanted to get an apartment together. That way he could stay safe and comfortable as he went to school. When they were gone, it was just the 6 of us left in the dorms. Abimael, Silas and Absalom were the next group to mess with us. We just waited for him to approach and get on with it. He stopped in front of us and we stared at him. After a few seconds, he looked confused. "What do you want?" I asked. He blinked and took a second to get himself in the right headspace. "You've been making a real mess for all of us." Abimael said. "What are you talking about!? Just leave us the hell alone!" Myles said. Abimael shook his head and sighed as if he was regretful about bothering us. "Trust me. I would love to. But lots of the other alphas are getting concerned, you know? They were asking the ones in our class why we don't have you guys under control." he said with a smirk.

It was exactly the kind of audacious statement we could expect from the alphas. "Fuck you! Tell them that we only fuck with assholes that attack us first." Emory said. It was a bold thing to say and exactly what I would expect from him. He never took shit from anybody. "Listen here, Emory. You, Abner and Myles can say that. You have a great position here. The others, not so much, because of their position." "What do you mean?" Amias asked in response. I had an idea. Abimael looked at the rest of us with a predatory grin. "A Ganes, Asela, and a Gikrith standing out so much like that? I heard that bad things tend to happen to people like that." he warned. That was the thing I was most worried about. If enough alphas with high gender levels went against us, it would be pretty bad. There were not many that had very high levels and there were fewer that we pissed off enough to make them try to outright attack us. Omegas might not have been outright discriminated against in the eyes of the law but, culturally, few alphas or unconcerned betas would care with we were beaten and raped.

Going out of his way to say that though, probably had some meaning. After seeing Giles and Thaddeus, all the betas left us alone. They did not want the hassle or the risk. There were lots of other targets to choose from as well if they absolutely could not help themselves. Even some physically weak, non fighter alpha orbiters that liked to tease and catcall us stopped coming around. The stronger orbiters remained, but they knew better than to touch. I knew that Giles and Thaddeus were getting more shit than we were. It was much easier to target 2 failures than 8 victor upstarts. As alphas, the marks on their napes would heal. That did not mean that people could not see all the deep teeth marks we all made. They had to wrap their throats in gauze for a whole week. We never got in trouble because they never reported it. Beyond the dirt we had on them, the sheer shame of making it any more publicly known would totally cripple them socially. They would never be able to go anywhere without the rumors and dirty shaming following them. It was a very precarious situation for us too.

Here under the spotlight, we were getting lots of hatred and resentment. Some was on the basis of gender. They did not like the idea of omegas taking power from betas and alphas. They were supposed to dominate and even the hint of a challenge had them up in arms. It was a sign of insecurity in their own talents. Some of the hate we got was on the basis of race. Some Blaqis, Nudria and Ossi students hated the idea of minorities rising up. They liked it even less when all of the different ethnic groups worked together to challenge the status quo. Just like with Giles and Thaddeus, the mob would be vicious. Since we were challenging others, the penalty for failure here would be so much worse for us. They would not stop until we were completely destroyed. "What do you want? You didn't have to explain something so basic like that to us." I said. He had an angle here but I had no way of telling what it was. His smirk grew wider. "Since we got approached by the other concerned alphas, Isaac and I had to say something to them." he said. Isaac Mare was the Blaqis alpha in our homeroom.
