Later that evening Zoe was sitting in the living room waiting for Jon to come down. Zoe was dressed ready for their night out. She was wearing a white short dress with matching heels and a black blazer was hung on the side of the sofa. Linda meanwhile was also in the living room playing on her console. After a while Jon finally appeared at the bottom of the stairs and entered the room. "Wow babe! You look amazing" Zoe said complimenting her brother. "Thanks hun" Jon replied giving Zoe a view of his outfit. Jon was wearing a pink striped dress shirt with black trousers and black shiny shoes. Jon also had a purple tie around his neck. Jon turned towards his mother who also complimented him on his look. "Thanks sweetie" Jon replied "Now I want you to be good for Mikey. Just because you're having a friend around it doesn't mean that you can ignore him. After all Mikey's doing a favour for Miss Black." Linda sighed, "Ok Jon. Don't worry we won't cause any trouble." "Good" Jon said satisfied. Just then the doorbell rang and Linda paused her game while Jon opened the door. "Oh hi Karyn, hi Stacy" he said. "Hey Jon, thanks again for the help." "Oh don't thank me, thank Mikey" Jon replied as Mikey entered from the kitchen. Karyn thanked Mikey who said that he was happy to help. Linda entered the hall "Hey Stacy. Come and check out this new game that I got." Stacy nodded and the two of them went into the living room.
At that moment Zoe came out of the living room and the three teenagers were alone in the hallway. "So are you driving tonight?" Jon asked Karyn looking over her shoulder and noticing that her car was in the driveway." Karyn nodded "Yeah I'm picking up Jack at his house" she acknowledged. "Oh so it's a Jack is it?" Jon asked finally getting some more info on Karyn's date. "Yeah" Karyn replied "He's on the football team. He's pretty hot as well." "I thought I knew all the players on the squad" Zoe commented "Ah, well he's a backup quarterback and has only just joined the team" Karyn explained. She looked at her watch "Well. I'd best be off. Thanks again you three." Karyn waved good bye and headed back to her car just as a taxi was pulling up. "Looks like that's our ride" Zoe said slinging her blazer over her shoulder. She said goodbye to Mikey and then headed out to greet the driver. Jon however poked his head into the living room where Linda and Stacy were well into their game. "Bye honey, have a good evening." "Yeah ok, bye" was the response he got from his mother. He then turned to Mikey "make sure they behave and find out what time dad is coming home." Mikey nodded his head as Jon left the house. Zoe opened the taxi's door for him as got in and then she climbed in herself. Once Zoe had given the driver their destination, the taxi sped off.
Mikey closed the door and then went and sat in the living room and watched Linda and Stacy playing their game. Shortly, Linda paused the game and turned to look at her youngest son. "Hey Mikey! Can we have Pizza?"
