After getting dressed Jon styled his hair. He looked in the wall length mirror and posed. Satisfied he headed downstairs for breakfast.
His mom, Bethany...not that he'd forgotten his other mom, looked pleased. "You look so mature," she said, approvingly.
"Got to meet Karyn," he said, grabbing a bowl of cereal.
"You can sit for five minutes...You've changed your entire look in the last few days...got a boyfriend. I have noticed the change...I just wanted to know if you wanted to talk..."
Jon sat for a moment and thought about it. "I just...feel different. Karyn makes me feel...pretty. I know that sounds corny."
"Not at all...I felt the same way about your father.."
"I'm just worried about Tim. I feel bad..."
"The best advice I can give you, Jon...is to let him come to terms with this."
