After breakfast, Sally got on with her chores while Sharon went back to her room to play with her dolls.
It gave her time to try and think again. She was supposed to be a grownup, but wasn't. Mommy was supposed to be a kid. She didn't know what to do about it. Being a grownup seemed so hard...and she was having trouble remembering how to do it.
She had to convince Mommy about it. Mommy would know what to do to fix it. Mommies always did.
She headed to find Sally, suddenly determined again. She had proof that something was wrong. Sharon was bigger than she was. But that wasn't supposed to be if she was supposed to be the Mommy.
"Mommy...I need to tell you something," she said in a high pitched voice.
