Sally looked at her. "Oh, you do now..." she said, deciding to humor her. "Why don't you tell me about your work, sweetie?"
"Well I..." Sharon began. "I get to play house with people" she said happily. It was weird, she could remember what she did but it suddenly seemed complicated and boring.
"You get to play house?" Sally said still humoring her. "You mean show people around houses don't you sweetie?"
Sharon nodded "uh huh"
"Anything else?" Sally asked
"And then, then I get to play on the computer and do lots of drawings" Sharon happily. She looked at her mother hoping she got it right.
Sally sighed "no sweetie. You go to school and I go to work"
"But, but..." Sharon pouted
"No buts. It's time for bed Missy" Sally said pointing upstairs.
"Awwww" Sharon said still pouting. She slowly went upstairs to her room. She then got changed into a pair of pink pyjamas and then climbed in to bed.
Sally looked in to see if she really was in bed. When Sharon noticed her she brightened up. "Can I have a bedtime story please mommy?" She askeds with a pleading look.
"But you've just watched a movie." Sally said "And mommy has to get her paperwork ready for work".
"Pwease!!!!" Sharon pleaded.
Sally relented. "OK, just this once though"
"Yay!" Sharon said as Sally chose a book from the shelf and sat down on the bed.
