Zoe started to style her hair and when she was finished it was done up into a professional updo. Zoe thought afterwards that she looked really smart almost like a professional.
Soon it was time for her to leave for the party. Zoe left her room and went downstairs not realizing that she hadn't put on any make up. "I'm going now...I don't want to be late," she said.
Her mother nodded. "Well, have a good time," her mother said.
Zoe paused. Usually her mother gave her a lecture about not staying out too late or causing any trouble. "Is something wrong?" She asked her mother.
"Like what?" Roger said, frowning.
It must be how mature she looked. Zoe headed toward the door.
