Mikey and his new friends stepped into the salon. No one seemed to notice anything wrong about a 10 year old boy hanging out with a couple of teenage girls nor did they find it odd that he had long blonde hair which fell down past his shoulders.
Tiffany and Melissa seemed to be regulars here as they seemed to know the members of staff very well. They also seemed to know Mikey but seeing as he had never been Mikey wasn't sure how. One of the hairdressers came and greeted them. She greeted each of them including Mikey with a hug and a kiss on each cheek. Mikey felt a bit awkward but returned the greeting with a smile.
"So what can I do for you three?" She asked.
"Well Tiffany and I will go for the full makeover." Melissa explained. "Mikey here has a date and needs to have a fabulous hairdo for it" She continued.
"Oh!? Another date with Biff eh?" The hairdresser asked with a wink. Mikey just nodded assuming he was correct.
"Oh you'll have to introduce me to him sometime gorgeous. He sounds like a hunk" Mikey didn't know what Biff looked like so he replied "Yeah he is". Did that girl just call me gorgeous? Mikey thought to himself as he was lead to a chair. Again he felt the same feeling when Melissa complimented him on his hair. He was beginning to like whatever was happening to him.
"So" The hairdresser asked him as he sat down. "Did you have any idea on what you wanted to do with your hair?" Mikey had no idea about hairstyles so he shrugged his shoulders "I'll just let you do what you think is best" he said.
"Ok sweetie" She replied. "Now you just relax while I get to work".
