Jon's alarm went off and it took him a few moments to process all that was going on. He'd been having a dream about the basketball team and...He cursed. "Now I'm even dreaming Karyn's dreams," he exclaimed to himself.
He rushed through getting ready and breakfast, not wanting to talk to the woman who thought she was his mother and headed up to meet with Karyn. Because he rushed, he was able to beat Karyn to their spot.
It gave him a moment of peace before Karyn actually did show up, much to his surprise. "No," Jon said as he saw the latest in a series of bad days. "I'm not doing this anymore."
He got a blank look from Karyn. "I still don't see anything different," she told him.
"Every time I tell you, you don't see it," he told her a bit shrilly. "How can you not see that..."
