"everything ok" came the voice of Karyn from the bottom of the ladder, Mia climbed down she was shell shocked, David followed.
"No I feel really odd" said Mia to her friend, her face worried and not comfortable hearing her own voice. The three headed to the study where Sarah was studying and Zoe was fiddling with her nails.
"I see you game David the magic ring for safe keeping." Said Karyn on the way down, Mia looked at the ring her mind still trying to reorder the recent events. Had reality changed? "it's such a good idea giving the ring to someone who cannot speak and accidentally make wishes." Karyn added. David's eyes went wide, "...", ".... ...." He said looking at the the ring, then ran back upstairs.
"hey sis, you ok?" Zoe asked as. Mia sat down looking at her delicate hands and the arms of her tight pink long sleeved top, her nails were painted a pale pink. "I don't know my heads a mess and I feel weird, I think. I just want to head home." She said. "Sure thing, I gotta look after my squad" came Sarah's voice holding her arm and heading towards the door, the others followed. "I'll text David and let him know, what the heck were you two doing up there anyway." She asked as they left.
David turned the light in the attic back on, wow it was brighter then he remembered and lit every part of the attic, but there was no dark areas, nor light other then the bright white light of the bulb above. "..." He screamed at the empty room.he had been tricked, the monster was free but he had no more power then he had the day before only a ring... Wait what if he could get someone else to wish for him. What if he could get Jon or was it Mia now... What if he could get the girl to wish them both out of this mess.
Mia said goodbye to her friends, although she wondered when Sarah had become so nice, or Zoe for that matter as they sat for dinner with her mom and dad and brother and made small talk. Finally she headed to bed, her room was very different I then the night before and she remembered her wish, "I wish something interesting would happen" she said looking in the mirror. A pretty girl, about 5 foot 6 stood I. A thin pink tight sweater and a pair of blue jeans and black boots, removing the heeled boots she shrunk down to five foot 4, much shorter then she remembered being. She pulled of the pink socks she now wore to discover tiny toes again painted pale pink. She looked back at her small hands, they looked so wrong. Pulling the sweater over her head she was greeted by a small chested skinny teenage girl in a pale pink bra, her small brats pushed up and out to form a cleavage. Mia held the mounds in her small hands then ran them down to the hem of her jeans and undid them. Pulling them off she revealed some thick thighs and turned to see a large but round bottom covered in pale pink briefs. Looking down her hands roamed her belly a small round belly button and beneath a slight bulge, she held her hand over it and remembered everything. "Oh shit, what have I done." She wondered rubbing her belly.
