Jon had to stifle a laugh as they rounded the corner and nearly bumped into Karyn and her brother. Her brother Cory was dressed much as Jon was used to seeing Karyn dressing - baggy jeans and sweater - while Karyn now wore blue shorts and sandals, an orange Naruto tee-shirt and a blue headband.
"Hey Jon," she said, seeing them, "I think we need to talk."
As their brothers walked on ahead of them she turned to him and said "I just know the stone has something to do with this."
"I think it does," he sighed, "One moment me and Mikey were joking about the coincidence that everyone in our class has a sibling in his and the next I was dressed like him and he was dressed like me. And our folks treated us like I was the kid brother and he was the high school senior. Even our rooms had changed."
Karyn nodded "Sounds like what happened to us. I was on Facebook, and then suddenly I was playing computer games. Cory kinda freaked but our parents wouldn't believe us. I managed to calm him down...I...I had to tell him about the stone."
"Mikey knows too," sighed Jon, "One thing I don't get though, why are you two dressed like each other? I can get me and Mikey - this is how I dressed when I was his age and he's a lot like me - but why are you two dressed like each other? You'd never have worn that when you were younger, and I can't see why Cory would dress like that if he were our age."
Karyn shrugged. "I think we've sorta swapped lives - last night my dad called me kiddo. He always calls Cory that, but never called me that. And this morning my mom called Cory 'young lady' and forced him to wear a bra."
"And you don't have any anymore," added Jon, "And ten year old boys don't wear them, hence why you're so...bouncy this morning."
"Yeah," sighed Karyn.
