All of a sudden Jon was looking up at himself and was sitting in a different place to where he had been. His body stared down at him in shock.
"Keep calm Mikey," he whispered, "Don't shout or mom and dad will come in and think you've gone crazy."
"But-," he protested.
"I can explain everything," Jon interrupted. He bit his lip and said, "can you feel a rock in your pocket?" Mikey nodded. "Well," sighed Jon, "It's a magic wishing rock and I think I accidentally wished us to swap bodies."
"There's no such thing," replied Mikey.
"If you don't believe me," said Jon, "Then...say 'I wish the carpet was blue.'."
"I...wish the carpet was blue," he said skeptically. "Holy crap," he gasped as the carpet changed colour.
"Look," said Jon, glancing at the kitchen door, "I don't have time to explain - I'll tell you everything after dinner; until then remember that you're Jon and I'm Mikey."
Mikey nodded, going pale.
