The scientist handed them each a clipboard.
"Fill these in please," he said, "Don't worry, they're multiple choice, so shouldn't be too hard. Try to select your first choice. Don't try to second guess the results or the experience won't be optimised for you." They all glanced at each other and shrugged, taking a pen from him and started checking answers.
The questions were many and varied, such as What food do you prefer?, Do you prefer walking or swiming, Do you like it warm or cold? Wet or dry? and even the seemingly irrelevant such as What is your favourite colour?
After what seemed like a few hours, they were all done and they handed the tests back to the scientist.
"Please take a seat in the waiting room," he smiled, taking the tests away. They nodded and filed into the waiting room where they found drinks and snacks waiting for them. After about five minutes, the scientist returned with a smile, carrying a plain brown envelope.
"Okay," he grinned, "Our super computer has processed your tests and I have the results here." He tore open the envelop and started reading.
