Jon sighed and submitted, deciding not to risk anymore changes.
"I better get ready for school," he said, shutting the computer down. His sister nodded and let him go and he sighed once more, heading back to his bedroom. Shutting the door firmly he looked around for the stone. "Where is it," he grumbled, tossing things around frantically. After half an hour he gave up, deciding he didn't have time to continue. Cursing, he packed his bag and hurried out of the house.
Half way to school he ran into Karyn.
"Hey Jon-boi," she grinned waving as he approached.
"Hey Kar," he sighed despondently.
"So, had any ideas what we can do with the stone today?" she asked.
"Actually," he winced, "I can't find it, I don't know where it's got to." He hesitated, wondering if he should tell her about Zoe's new found powers.
