So, after hunting through a decent number of posts, it seems like no one described Lisa at all. Which is cool, for me, as I get to draw whatever. But it struck me as a bit weird that no one ever took the time. I'll have to watch that in my own posts, to try and describe things.
Also: I'm not quite sure what was going on with Bryan, the plant-girl. I'm not horribly comfortable with someone who's changes are invisible, but if someone could sling some psuedoscience at me, I can live with it.
Intresting note, in the comic, there WILL be a visual difference in character models between those who have changed vs. vanilla humans. It might be subtle (hopefully will be) but Bryan and Tiffany's reveals will be a bit more foreshadowed.
I have a bit of backstory I was going to throw in for Tim, based on how everyone seems to be learning a life lesson from their change and what lessons turning into a Drow could provide.
I've mentally labelled him as a 'hater' pre-change, he was quick to judge, labeled people, dismissed them based on biases. He interacted only with his D&D; group and his family and that was all he needed. Anyone who talked to him at school was out to get something, no one could be trusted. A bit like Jeff's dad, but less rich and vocal.
And then the change. Suddenly, he is a species he associates with people hating on sight. You can't trust a drow, after all. They'd kill their own family. And so when the school redux begins, he's not sure if his hate is from him or his race and he decides to trust people for the first time/
And wouldn't you know it, most people seem to be decent folk.
There's one scene where Tim is surprised that Jon treats him nicely. totally proves its cannon :p
For those who are interested, this first "chapter" will run from the something interesting wish to right before "Restockalypse", which is the best title of all time.
Right. Time to get back to the drawing board :D
