(Author's Note: Wanted to branch off, and had a few different ideas, so I cut a bit further up...)
Roger quickly scanned the letter and gasped. He then glanced up at Jon and his family and started to read the letter aloud.
"Dear Roger Madison. Congratulations on being selected for reassignment. Not only have you been randomly selected, but you were randomly selected for a two person assignment. One of your family has been selected to join you, as noted below. We hope that having one of them with you will aid in the process."
He skimmed down to the next paragraph. "Please provide any final instructions to your family, remove any personal possessions, and when the van arrives, you must both proceed with only the clothes you are currently wearing. No other items will be necessary."
"Who is it?" Linda asked. "Who is going with you?"
