Privilege is defined as a special right or advantage available only to a particular person or group of people. The removal of male privilege would mean the elimination of advantages normally given to men.
Many psychologists had studied the two types of response to empathy, one that is more common in males, and the other more common in females. Males in studies tended to show brain activity in areas associated with rational analysis, indicating they were identifying emotions, whereas the brain activity of females in these studies tended to indicate they were truly feeling the emotions they saw.
The differences tended to grow with age, and studies suggested that these tendencies were something that was a product of society, not biology.
This was the theory that was being tested. The roles given to men would be ones typically given to women. Doing this would create a vacuum in town though. Key positions would no longer be filled and women would have to vacate certain positions as well, in order to make room for men.
So, while there wasn't a direct impact on women per se, they would have to adapt as well.
