Author's Note: Anonymous51 had a minor continuity error. Leslie folded it up and put it in her purse. So, why would she then take it out and throw it out with the trash? Thus, the paper in the food court would have to be a different one.

Not knowing what else to do, Leslie decided to head back to work at the travel agency, searching for some sense of normalcy.

But it wasn't there. Her business (or rather Larry's business) was gone, replaced by a greeting card store that she was sure she had never seen before. She just stood there, staring at it.

She still felt like crap. How could she feel the pain of breaking up with someone when it wasn't real? All she knew about the current situation was what she'd read on the paper...the words that were no longer there.

Her own mother wouldn't recognize her now.

Leslie hadn't thought to look for any more pages. There had actually been several that had been ripped out of the notebook.

Back in the Food Court, someone frowned, passing a woman who'd obviously been crying. Buying a snack, they sat down at a table, and realized there was a piece of paper on the seat. It didn't seem to be garbage, there were handwritten words on both sides.

Unknown to them, it was part of the same story that Leslie had read. Was it an earlier or later page? Would it introduce a new character, or would it simply be more about Leslie...who certainly could use more information about herself?
