Jon couldn't sleep that night, after his stupid wish. He started imagining the worst possible things that could happen. But nothing did happen.
Finally, he went downstairs to watch some TV...then realized that the noise would wake everyone up. He sat there for a bit, bored, but not willing to go back to his room and try sleep again.
He picked up a book on the coffee table and opened it, not caring what it was.
