He had created...well, he wasn't quite sure. But, it did something. That was the point of science. You experimented.
But, even if it failed, the principles were so revolutionary, he would be able to build on it. It created what he called a quantum inversion field, and thus, he called it the...inverter.
He wasn't sure how exactly it would work on a living person, but it hadn't harmed the rat he'd tried it on, and science was all about taking risks. It was a square box with a single button on it, with an arrow indicating where to aim.
He tightened the screws and headed out to find someone to try it on...from a distance, of course.
