Chris turned tail and ran. His best friends had turned into a wind-up doll and a rag doll. He threw open the door and pulled it closed behind him, and didn't stop till he was back at the car.
Reaching for his cell phone, he dialed the police.
"Car 81, this is Dispatch. We have someone calling in saying his friends turned into dolls. Can you investigate...it might be a prank, or possible drug use?"
Officer Kurt Maybourn acknowledged the call, and turned to his partner, Officer Danielle Chase. "People turning into Dolls."
"Dispatch is probably right. Probably some drugged out teenager," she said, heading toward the address.
