Jon's mother (Linda) stretched, as her alarm went off. She had this strange feeling when she woke up, like ... she shook her head. She was probably just tired.
She got out of bed and headed into the bathroom. The moment she turned on the light, she gasped. What was that? Just for a moment there, she felt ... excited? She shook her head again, then proceeded to use the toilet.
Gladys Brewer (possibly the fattest girl that went to Jon's high school) rolled out of bed. She had this weird feeling when she woke up. It was like nothing she had ever felt before. Shaking her head, thinking that she might have imagined it, she headed downstairs to the kitchen. As usual, she was hungry.
Karyn woke up, feeling a little strange. No, it wasn't just because of her bigger breasts, which were hard to sleep with, she found out. It was something else. Nadine Ferguson (probably the most prudish girl that went to Jon's high school) pulled back her covers and got out of bed. She had this strange feeling within her that she had never felt before. So she had no idea what might have been causing it. She shook her head, focusing on more important things.
She walked to her bookshelf and grabbed her Bible. Every morning, she picked a passage and read it. But it was too dark in there to read. She had to turn on the light.

Lydia Warren (the teacher of Jon's little brother Mikey) stretched and got out of bed. She felt really odd for some reason, but just shook it off. Maybe she had a strange dream or something. She walked into her attached bathroom and flicked on the light. At the same time, it seemed, something within her was also flicked on. For a brief moment, she felt a sense of excitement overcome her, then it was gone. "That's strange," she said, before closing the door and continuing on with her business.
Gretchen Wilson (Jon's elderly neighbor from across the street) uncharacteristically woke up early. She had this strange feeling. Like a distant sense of excitement. Or an anticipation for something. She shook her head, thinking that she might have just been dreaming about something, then closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
The odd, strange, and weird feeling that all of these females (and more - too many to list here) felt was the Electrogasm Wave affecting them while they slept. Because right there on their nightstand was an alarm clock, which was an active electrical device. Without even knowing it, all of them had been exposed to the wave for at least an hour, maybe two, before finally waking up and going about their day. It was enough of an exposure to cause their sexual inhibitions to be lowered a bit. Not too much, but it was possible that some people might notice small differences in their behavior.
