As Jon and Mitch sat together on the ride to school, nothing else happened but them talking about how there was this cool new video game coming out, with video games being some thing that the two of them had in common.
While they were talking though, Mitch couldn't shake the feeling that something was a bit off about him and he had some reason to believe it was because of that apple but he didn't want to dwell too much on it.
Finally they had arrived at the school and got off the bus and started to head into the school building. Unfortunatly along the way they happened to pass Biff Meadows who took pleasure in making the lives of people like Jon and Mitch a living hell.
As they passed by Biff, he stuck his leg out causing Jon to trip over and fall on his face as he was the closest to him. "Oh I'm sorry Jon, I didn't mean to get in the way of you walking. Here let me help you up." he says in a mock apologetic tone as he leans down to help Jon up.
And when he leans down, that's when he notices that Jon had dropped the apple on the fall. "Hey that's a nice apple you got there Jon-boy, you wouldn't mind if I took a look at it did you?" he asks and picks it up before waiting for an answer from Jon.
Biff holds it and looks at it closely as he had never seen an apple like this one before but just as he's about to ask Jon about it, he feels a slight shock come from it and he drops it on the ground. "What is that some sort of prank or something?" he asks.
Jon picks it back up and sticks it in his backpack. "No it was something from a relative in South America." he contends.
Biff shakes off his hand and nods his head as he glares at Jon. "Yea well your little gift just earned you an ass whooping after school so I expect to see you here when the bell rings at three." he says as him and his jock buddies walk off.
With that out of the way, for now at least, Jon just sighs as he heads towards his first class.
