Once they got out of the building, Marcy and Ben could do nothing but stare as their boss Steve Renner checked to make sure no one was looking and made a mad dash to the car. After pulling themselves out of their momentary shock, they followed him, but then stopped and stared again as they watched him stripping and then donning Marcy's extra outfit. It looked completely ridiculous on him, but he seemed to be relieved. What exactly happened to him? A nervous breakdown perhaps?
The two construction guys who had quickly changed into women's attire earlier were still busy at work. But they stopped when they saw a hot woman walking near the construction site. They whistled at her, grabbing her attention. But then their desire for her turned into confusion when she gave them the most odd-looking expression. It was revulsion. They weren't being that lewd. What the hell was wrong with her?
Kaylee was heading to the bank downtown to make a deposit. On the way, she passed the construction site, where she heard a couple of guys whistling to her. She turned and smiled at them, but her smile immediately turned to confusion and then disgust, when she saw what they were wearing. They were dressed like women!
Feeling revulsion, she hurried away quickly ... well, as well as she could in 4-inch heels. Then she muttered to herself "Freaks."
Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks and looked down at herself with wide eyes. What the hell was she wearing?! A blouse? A miniskirt? High heels?! She was dressed like a woman! This was so disgusting! What if someone saw her?
She tore open the blouse and was again shocked to see that her outer clothes weren't the only things that were different (as far as she knew). She was wearing a bra! Now this was getting too weird. How the hell did all these clothes get on her?
At about this time, Jon was finally meeting up with Karyn at the high school. He was puzzled when he saw her staring at him.
"Jon, did you use the stone to dress yourself this morning?" Karyn asked.
"Yeah, actually."
"Maybe you should have been more specific."
"What do you mean? I got exactly what I wished for."
Karyn fell silent.
"Karyn, what is it?"
"Jon, you're dressed like a girl," she said, stating the obvious.
"So?" his reply came.
She stared at him again. "What do you mean 'so'?"
"Karyn, I always dress like a girl."
"No you don't," she said.
He gave her an odd look.
"Okay, listen. What am I? A boy or a girl?" she asked.
"A girl, obviously," he said.
"And what kind of clothes am I wearing? Boy or girl?"
"Girl."
She nodded. "And what are you? A boy or a girl?"
"A boy. Listen, Karyn. Is this going somewhere? 'Cause I've gotta put my book bag and purse in my locker."
"Yes, it's going somewhere. There's something really wrong here, Jon. And you're just not seeing it."
Jon really had no idea what she was talking about.
"Okay, since you're a boy, what kind of clothes do you think you should wear?"
"Girls clothes."
"What?" Karyn asked. "But you're a boy. A boy should wear boy's clothes. Can't you see that?"
