The two boys nodded, then all three headed off to Andy's car. Once they were in the car, Sarah would have plenty of time to question them about their "new" lives. This whole situation was so fascinating.
Sarah climbed into Andy's car, an older sedan, squeezing into the back. She'd always been tall, to her recollection...although she'd gotten taller in the last hour, something she hadn't noticed.
As they rode along, she became rather surprised by the two boys. She remembered them as cheerleaders...not obnoxious types exactly...They'd had the same superior attitude Kyla had, but didn't feel the need to pick on nerds like her so much. They had simply pretended she didn't exist, being beneath them. Melissa, on the other hand, was almost as bad as Kyla.
But Andy and Eric weren't jocks...they were just average...they didn't stick out. And Sarah found herself liking them. They were both big action movie fans...and there was some sci-fi overlap there, although Sarah preferred more cerebral science fiction to the Shoot Random Alien movies. They played video games, although not as obsessively as some of Sarah's friends.
In the guise of being friendly, she learned quite a lot about them, and how different they were from their female counterparts. She didn't know a lot about Erika's home life, but Eric had mentioned in response to her query on siblings that he had a half-brother, and apparently his stepmom was much younger than his father, or so she gathered when Andy had chimed in that Mrs Weber was 'smokin' hot'.
Sarah decided she would investigate further by continuing to be friendly with Andy and Eric. She mentioned to them that some of her friends had video game tournaments on weekends, and maybe they might want to come...
She shifted uncomfortably in her seat as the car came to a stop outside her home.
