"Maybe you should go to bed early ..." Molly's mother suggested.
"I can't. I still have to finish my chem homework," Molly said.
"Well, usually I would encourage you to do your schoolwork, but having memory problems at your age could be a serious problem. I might even have to take you to the hospital."
"Mom, I'm fine. I probably just got tired and took a wrong turn when I came home."
"But the mall is over four blocks from Melony's house. Wouldn't you have noticed that you were heading in the wrong direction?"
"I don't know. I guess. Listen, I've got to finish my homework. But I'll go straight to bed afterwards, okay?"
"Yeah, okay, honey. But if you have any more memory problems, you'll tell me, right?"
"Of course," Molly said, then headed to her bedroom.
