Not that long before, Sarah McMillan had exited the movie theater with her boyfriend, Biff Meadows. They weren't aware of the cloud descending on them...unlike Molly.
Suddenly, Sarah blinked, nearly bumping into a couple of kids she recognized from school. "Watch it, loser," one of them said, before they headed off in the direction of the Food Court.
"What just happened," she asked her companion. "One moment, I was walking, then..."
There was a nod. "Like we skipped a second there. It was sort of like that episode of TNG..."
"You mean Timescape?" She asked.
"I know which one."
"We should investigate...something weird just happened," Sarah insisted.
