Molly watched as the cloud moved further into the commercial district and towards the biggest building around. It was the mall. The big mall. At this late of an hour, only a few of the stores were still open, so the mall was open. But not for long.
She watched the cloud swerve around the cars in the parking lot, avoiding them, then it went through the main entrance of the mall with ease.
Molly rushed towards the building, still hot on the cloud's trail.
It was late for Molly...past her bedtime. But that was not even 10PM. Plenty of people were still out.
Inside the mall, many stores had already closed, but the movie theater was still open, as was the Food Court and the bookstore. And while many of the other stores had closed at 9, there were some employees who stayed to lock up now on their way out.
A romantic comedy and an action movie were letting out as Molly entered, and she spotted several different groups hanging out in the Food Court. This included several couples, several separate groups of teenagers, and even a few families.
