Sarah McMillan entered the food court, boyfriend Biff in tow. She made a beeline for her friends, Melissa Smith, Amber Levine, and Erica Weber, who were sitting at a table.
Biff looked particularly bored. He really hated hanging out with Sarah's friends...at least when some of his friends weren't around as well. Sarah could be a bit high-maintenance. But she was the sexiest girl in school.
Unnoticed by any of them, a large billowing mass of smoke or fog was moving around the tables towards their table.
