"Mom...I still feel kind of funny," Mikey said. The boy turned young woman looked her right in the eye. Wait...she was taller than me a moment ago, wasn't she? Mikey thought. Now they were the same height...and did Mom look a bit younger?
"Me too," Linda said, "Kinda dizzy."
She seemed to be losing age at the rate of a year every few seconds, and Mikey wasn't sure what to say about it. Linda was looking progressively out of it with each moment. She kept blinking, starting to speak, then blinking again.
She started to enter her twenties, heading the wrong way. "Mom, you're scaring me...say something..." Mikey insisted.
"Mom?" Linda said, suddenly speaking. "How could I be your Mom? You're older than me."
Mikey was confused as well, and paused to think about it. It seemed impossible that the person standing there was her mother. If she's not my mother, who is she?
