"Mom? Are you okay?" Mikey asked. It looked like she was going to faint.
Zoe retreated into the bathroom and took a few deep breaths as Mikey called for her.
She looked at herself in the mirror. This was just too weird. She picked up her cell and dialed Athena...her best friend.
"Zoe," her friend said, before she could even get a weird in edgewise. "I think you'd better get over here right now. I have a big problem."
"You have a problem! I have a bigger problem."
"You aren't going to believe this," Athena said, "But..."
