It was Athena DeVries, that goth freshman from school. She hated Sarah and Sarah hated her. So what the hell was she doing in her house? If this was her house. It was, wasn't it?
"I'm done," Athena said. "The shower's all yours." Sarah looked at her blankly and Athena frowned. "Did you have a bad night's sleep or something?"
"Huh?" Part of her knew that Athena shouldn't have been there. But another part knew that it was totally normal, that she shouldn't be surprised.
"You look kinda out of it," the other girl said.
"I'm just a little ... tired," Sarah replied, unsure of what else to say.
Athena shrugged, then continued down the hall and around the corner. Sarah slowly followed her, wondering where she was going.
