Freed from his obligation, they shooed me away and I was quick to leave. The next person was Blue Ignis. They were surprisingly willing. However, it was soon apparent that they also thought that this was a ploy to have sexual contact with him. Once they were told that that was not the case, their enthusiasm deflated a bit. They still let me milk them and collect the sample. Whatever the reason, they were helping out. They also got to get off. It was a win-win if they were into the idea of being touched that way by a Black like me. As I was leaving, they told me that they were open to me doing it again. It probably was not going to happen, but it might be useful later on in the near future. That meant that we had samples for a Black, Violet, Blue and Green. I went with Green Tho to convince an Indigo to come to the lounge with us. It was a certainty that I would not be able to get the sample from the other colors on my own. Green Tho manhandled the nameless Indigo and I collected the sample. They were threatened into silence by Green Tho too. After that, we left them alone. We had 5 now.
It was another couple of weeks before we were called for more tests. We had a few drills and practice fights with the other sub entities in the meantime. There was really nothing that was too hard. I was also able to get in touch with a group of Researchers. One of them was Suzie. I was able to tell her about the deal once we had a small moment alone. We did not get anything from the Reds, Oranges, or Yellows yet. Hopefully, she could help. As an actual member of the Researcher class, she could get samples. It turned out that she was good at it. All she needed to do was go to the civilians and ask them for it. They were still elitist and racist, but fusing was the one thing they could not do down where they were kept. They were willing to part with some blood in order to fuse. After winning the control minigame, Suzie was able to extract the genetic material from the colored tentacles. Once the material was collected, she did not waste time defusing and taking the supplies. This worked for a Red and Yellow. The Oranges did not bite. The call was welcome. We already had the goods.
Going to the lounge, we quickly fused with our partners. It was a pretty routine thing by now. Our materials were taken to the lounge with us. Once we went to the space corridor, we saw the Reds and Yellows were doubled up as well. Since that was the case, we needed to be on our toes. They were up to something. Both Dr. Wendy and the creepy Dr. Ian were in attendance this time. There were the standard tests and we all did our best. It was the stronger Yellows and Reds that did the best. That was to be expected though. When Dr. Wendy dismissed us, Dr. Ian spoke up and asked to speak to me. She stopped and asked him why. He was evasive and she gave up in annoyance. Everyone else left until it was just us. "I have some good news. I have gotten preliminary approval to have a small task force to help with the rising crime and casualties in the lunar slums. You would be helping new medics go around to help people. It will be rough living, but you can settle there." I waited for the catch. He did not disappoint. "I will need some more samples to help with my personal logistics."
