Jon opened the door to the classroom and walked into the hallway. He looked toward the door that led outside, where there was currently a brawl taking place between a large number of the students. He glanced out the window and saw soccer balls and footballs being thrown all over the place. The cheerleaders were doing flips and other acrobatics combined with fighting skills that Jon knew a number of them had had no access to prior to this morning. He also noted that some of the goths who were the target of the goths and the cheerleaders seemed to be protected from the attacks, as if by magic.
"This is insane..." Jon said, quietly. It was almost like something out of a movie. "It looks like they're trying to kill each other..."
Jon turned away from the door and headed toward the other end of the school. There was no way he was going to get out of the school that way without getting caught in the fighting. More concerning than that, he didn't know how the cheerleaders had gotten Karyn to join them. All he did know was that the stone could fix it.
He made his way to the opposite end of the school and peaked out the door that led outside. It looked completely clear. He nodded and walked outside. All he had to do now was get away from the school and to his house, and this would all go away.
He began walking away from the school, but after walking a few yards, he heard a noise behind him. Before he could turn and look, something struck him in the back of the head, knocking him out cold.
When Jon regained consciousness, he found himself tied to a chair in a dark room. He couldn't see anything, so he had no idea where exactly he was. It was obvious that he had been captured by someone, but what he didn't know was that the people who captured him would have the power to make him join their ranks.
