"If you're so worried about what your wish did..." Karyn said. "Why not use the stone to find out?"
"Tried it." Jon replied. "Apparently, the stone thinks telling me would make whatever's gonna happen less interesting."
"Well, when we see something weird, we can always just use the stone to stop it." Karyn suggested. "After all, the wish was pretty vague.
The two of them proceeded to discuss what they could all the way to the school. When they got their, they both noticed something odd.
"Hey, where is everyone?" Jon asked, looking around.
"Yeah, I don't see anyone here." Karyn said. Indeed, the school grounds appeared to be empty. "Could this be what your wish did?"
"You think my wish made everyone ditch school?" Jon asked. "That's odd, but not really interesting."
Karyn looked the school over again. "Well, looks like the front door is open." she said. "Let's go check it out." she added, running toward the school.
"Hey, I don't think we should..." Jon said, watching as Karyn entered the school. He looked around nervously, wondering if he should follow and explore the school, or try to get Karyn and run home to retrieve the stone.
