Not entirely sure what he was about to do, Jon reached up and touched "MODIFY". The menu blinked off, and a floating image of a keyboard with a blinking cursor above it appeared. Experimentally he raised a hand and touched the "E" key.
Sure enough, an "E" appeared where the cursor was blinking. He continued typing. He added an "X", a "C", then an "I", a "T", another "E" and a "D". After this he hit "enter". The keyboard disappeared, along with the word he typed. His sister, Zoe, began to move again.
"Oh my God, Jon!" she said, "Thank-you so much! You don't know what this means to me!" A smile was beaming on her face, her eyes glazed with excitement.
"What do you mean?"
"What do I mean?! What have we been talking about?! The toilet seat! I was so hoping that you'd leave it up! You really know how to make my day!" She squealed, bounced up and down a couple times while clapping, then threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "You're the best brother ever!" she said into his chest.
After a few moments, she disengaged and excused herself to the washroom once more, sprinting toward it in hopes that the seat would still be up. Jon shook his head in bewilderment, wondering what would come next. He didn't have to wait long, because...
