Jon was trying to come up with an idea to get his mom back without letting Zoe find out about the stone when he suddenly felt very dizzy. A moment later, it seemed as though the screen was just inches from his face. All he could see were randomly colored pixels, too close to make out any definition. He thought he heard his sister say "What the hell are you doing?" but he couldn't be sure. Without thinking, he reached out and touched the screen.
It suddenly dawned on Jon exactly what was happening, and he snapped out of his trance. He tried pulling his arms free, but they wouldn't move. Instead, they were sucked further in. He turned as much as he could toward Zoe.
"Help!" he yelled. Zoe grabbed his shoulders and pulled. They both used all their strength, but it was no use. It was as though the screen was quicksand. The harder they pulled, the more Jon got stuck. It kept pulling him deeper.
"The remote!" Jon yelled, "Grab the remmpphhh..." Jon's cries were quickly muffled as his head was pulled into the screen. Zoe went for the remote, hoping that if she turned off the TV it might let go of Jon. Unfortunately, when she let go of him, there was nothing else holding him down and the rest of his body flew right into the television. There was a bright flash. Zoe blinked, trying to clear her vision and see what might have become of her brother.
